MESSAGE = My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to see President Bush at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN. last week. My two teenage sons had the priviledge to go with their school to see him in St.Cloud, MN. It was quite exciting to be there. However, I do have an issue that came up that I would like to address. I did call the Republican office in St. Cloud but they were unable to help me. They of course passed the buck to you.

My teenage sons were right up by the stage. They were there for several hours and were not allowed to go to the bathroom. They could see that there were satellites on the other side but were told by security that they would not be let back in if they went to go to the bathroom.

I understand the need for protecting the president, but you cannot expect people to wait several hours to go to the bathroom. The really sad thing about this is that one of the boys ended up wetting his pants. As you can imagine, that was quite devastating to him. Here he was not only surrounded by his peers but also thousands of other people.

The media would have a field day with this. They just love having something negative to say about President Bush and the Republican party.

This was the first time any of us has gone to a presidential rally. My 17 year old son enjoyed it but it did leave a bad impression on him. He's not sure he would ever go again. My 14 year old son did not want to go in the first place but we told him he needed to go. That the young people were the future of our country. Because of how the rally was handled he is even less interested in getting involved in politics. Very sad!
